Dr. Montgomery grew up in St. Petersburg and Tarpon Springs on the West Coast of Florida. After college in North Carolina and Massachusetts he returned to Florida for medical school. Like Dr. Rosebrough, he graduated in the top 10% of his class followed by an eye surgery residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Looking to settle in a small town on the West Coast of Florida, Inverness was a pleasant discovery.
Among the new techniques Dr. Montgomery brought to this area, he performed the first ever cornea transplant in Citrus County, Botox injections both cosmetic and therapeutic and introduced surgery to reduce nearsightedness. Cataract surgery continues to be his most requested procedure with a range of lens implant options to choose from.
Dr. Rosebrough grew up in the Jacksonville, FL area. After graduating with honors from Duke University he completed medical school in the top 10% of his class at the University of Florida. This was followed by an ophthalmology residency also at UF in Gainesville.
An accomplished fisherman, the waters of Citrus County were the main attraction that brought him to our area.
